Hi, I’m Chuck Miller, And I’d Like to Take A Few Minutes To Share With You Why I Am Confident As Your Expert Witness I Can Help You Prevail in Civil Legal Cases
What Makes Me An Expert
The dictionary defines an expert as:
“Somebody who has a broad and deep understanding and competence in terms of knowledge, skill and experience through practice and education in a particular field or area of study.”
Physicist Neils Bohr defined an expert as “a man who has made all the mistakes, which can be made, in a very narrow field.”
My experience includes single and multi-family residential, mixed-use, commercial, and institutional projects across the United States. During my 56+ years in the construction industry, I have made my share of mistakes. But I have also learned from them and from the mistakes of others. I reviewed 1,077 consumer complaints against contractors filed with the Idaho Contractors Board of the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses from 2008 through 2022 and provided my professional opinion and assessment of the contractor’s compliance with applicable building codes, state and local laws, and the Board’s rules and code of ethics; the contractor’s conduct, the quality of the contractor’s work, and the ethical appropriateness of the consumer/contractor relationship.
I have pursued professional education through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and have earned 11 of NAHB’s professional designations:
- Graduate Master Builder
- Certified Graduate Builder
- Graduate Master Remodeler
- Certified Graduate Remodeler
- Master Certified Green Professional
